DEPAVE: The Ground as a Site of Design and Repair
This DEPAVE roundtable asks how incremental and intergenerational acts of subtraction, however small, can be drivers of infrastructural, ecological and social repair. What would it take to depave a portion of sidewalk, a parking lot, a freeway, an entire city?
Hosted by the Center for Architecture, this event is part of a programming series for the 2026 CFA Lab Residency, Repair: Democracy and Urban Spaces, for which Friends Making Work exhibited DEPAVE: An Ecological Repair of the Ground.
